How much does aerial filming and photography services cost?

As with other products we offer various price points for our different levels of service. Please contact our office today for a current price sheet or quote for your specific shoot.

Do you provide the cameras and lenses?

Depending on what you are looking for we can offer most camera and lens setups. Sometimes only specific combinations will work based on the multirotor and the rest of the hardware options.

How do you deliver the aerial photos and video files?

Depending on our agreement we can either give you the SD cards right out of the cameras, transfer the files to a portable drive on site or deliver via courier on a portable drive on the first business day after the shoot.

Do you provide stock footage?

Yes. Our stock footage library is growing every day.

I heard aerial filming is illegal. Is this true?

Professional aerial filming is absolutely legal in Canada when done with permission from Transport Canada (Special Flight Operations Certificate – S.F.O.C.), the appropriate insurance and permission from the property owner. We have a blanket S.F.O.C. from Transport Canada that enables us to fly commercially on very short notice.

How long can you fly and film for?

Depending on the camera package flight times vary from 6-12 minutes. Our teams travel with enough batteries and a portable charge station to allow for near constant filming if required.

Do you have insurance?

Yes, we carry $2 million CGL specific to drone based aerial filming. For a small fee, we can increase this to $5 million if the job requires it.

Can you fly indoors?

Yes, although we need a minimum of 40' X 40' with 12' ceilings in order to do this safely.

Can you fly over a crowd?

No, flying over the public is illegal. However it is possible to make it appear that you are flying over a crowd with skilled operators, careful lens selection and the right camera angles.

Where do you offer your services?

We are based just outside Toronto, Ontario, but operate throughout all of Canada. For the right project we will travel anywhere in the world where it is legal to fly and film.

Is weather a limiting factor for flying and filming?

How fast can you fly?
